Assistant Principal/Athletic Director

Terina Gantt earned her Bachelor’s degree from Faulkner University in 1994. Three years later she returned to her Alma Mater as the Head Volleyball Coach, where in 1996 she was named the Great South Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.  In 2001 she took over the helm of the Huntingdon College Volleyball Program, again garnering Coach of the Year honors in the year 2004. In 2005, Gantt returned to the classroom in the Tallassee City Schools system at Southside Middle School.  While at Southside Middle School, she taught Physical Education, Physical Science and Gifted Education. She served as 8th grade team leader, the coordinator for the school-wide behavior management program, the Athletic Director for the middle school athletics program and on the district AdvancEd Accreditation team. She was named Teacher of the Month on multiple occasions and Southside Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2016.  She earned a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University in 2016. In April of 2017 Mrs. Gantt joined the leadership team at Pike Road Schools. She has served as Assistant Principal at Pike Road High School since that time. In 2018, Mrs. Gantt took on the role of system athletic director, in addition to her duties as assistant principal.


Mrs. Gantt has been happily married to Eddie Gantt for 19 years.  They have two children, Jackson, 18 and Joseph 15.
