In celebration of World Day of Kindness on Nov. 13, the GW school counselors and Peer Helpers emphasized the importance of small gestures of kindness...learners were invited to add their own compliment to the wall. The 2024 State of the Schools address will take place Monday, November 18, following the Board of Education meeting which begins at 6:00 pm at the PRS Performing Arts Center. The State of the Schools will be an abbreviated address that should not last more than one hour.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans at Pike Road's GW Campus 🇺🇸 Today, our GW Campus came together for a heartfelt Veterans Day program honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country. Senior Master Sergeant Jarvis Wilson, husband of Lead Learner, Corinda Wilson, and proud father of two GW Campus learners, shared moving words about service, unity, and dedication. Our show choir sang beautifully, filling the room with pride and gratitude, while Naye Yeo’s violin performance of God Bless America resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. Mr. Darby closed the program with a poignant rendition of TAPS, paying tribute to those who have given everything for our freedom. A special thank you to all of our active and retired service men and women who joined us for today’s program. Your presence and sacrifices inspire us every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring our heroes. To all veterans, we truly honor and appreciate you, today and always. ❤️🤍💙
