Alabama State Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey, Alabama State Board of Education Member Dr. Tonya Chestnut, and members of the Alabama State Department of Education executive team toured Pike Road High School as construction nears completion.
Pike Road Schools Superintendent Dr. Jason Goodwin welcomed the group to the newest PRS campus, where they toured several areas of the nearly completed facility. The group visited academic wing classrooms, including new state-of-the-art science laboratories, before exploring the Career Tech Wing and its specialized learning spaces designed for each career pathway.

The tour continued through the athletics areas, including the new gymnasium, locker rooms, and weight rooms, as well as the fine arts spaces across the hall. Visitors got a peek at the band room, show choir space, theatre, and visual arts classrooms.
The group also toured the new cafeteria and administrative offices, taking in the many spaces that will soon be home to Pike Road High School students and staff.
