👖 Wear Your Jeans. Stand Together. Save Lives. 💙

The GW Campus School Counseling Department invites students, staff, and our community to participate in Jeans for Jason on Thursday, September 10 for Suicide Prevention Month and World Suicide Prevention Day.

By wearing your jeans, you create a visible reminder that every person matters, every connection matters, and we all play a vital role in looking out for one another.

Why We Wear Jeans:
Jason Flatt was a 16-year-old who died by suicide in 1997. In response to his loss, his family founded The Jason Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness and providing education and resources to help young people, families, and educators recognize when someone may be struggling and connect them with help.

Jason's legacy reminds us that suicide prevention begins with awareness, strong connections, and taking direct action when someone needs support.
